Enrollment Policy 

  1. Luther Memorial School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, or athletic and other school administered programs.
  1. All students enrolling in 3rd-8th grade must spend a shadow day at the campus where they will be enrolled. A shadow day will run from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and will include student and parent interviews with the principal as well as basic math and reading testing through STAR.
  1. All students new to LMS, regardless of grade level, will be enrolled on a probationary basis. During the first 30 school days that the student is enrolled,  he/she may be removed from enrollment at any time at the discretion of the principal.  Any removal from enrollment can be appealed to the School Board in writing within 10 days of the removal.
  1. A student will be considered officially enrolled upon receiving all documentation and forms required by the school office. This includes all paperwork for the Cleveland Scholarship and Tutoring, with the exception of private pay families. 
  1. If a class is full, the student will be placed on a waiting list. Students will be moved to enrolled status as spaces become available. Parents/Guardians will be notified via phone and will have 5 school days to respond and then the space will be given to the next student on the list.
