Welcome to Luther Memorial School! Whether you are visiting our website as a prospective parent, current parent, alumni or donor, I hope that you find the information you are looking for and are not hesitant to contact me if you have any questions.
Luther Memorial was founded more than 70 years ago by an association of three Lutheran churches in Cleveland to care for and educate the children of their congregations, primarily German immigrants.
Today, we are proud of our diverse student population, welcoming children of all races, nationalities and religions. Our mission is to provide a quality, Christ-centered education that fosters life-long learning and the skills necessary for our students to seek out and hold onto opportunities throughout their lives. Diverse Lutheran elementary schools in the U.S.
Our PreK through Grade 8 campus, with approximately 210 students, is at the corner of Pearl Road and Ardmore Avenue in Old Brooklyn, a neighborhood of Cleveland, OH. The congregation of St. Mark Lutheran Church worships in our sanctuary on Sunday mornings.
Since every school has its own personality, the only real way that you can find out about a school is to visit. Please contact the school to make an appointment to visit us and to learn more about us.

Luther Memorial needs your help to provide our children with the Christ-centered education they deserve.
Currently, 85 percent of our students come from low-income homes and qualify for a state tuition voucher. This voucher pays 85 percent of our operating costs with the remaining funds acquired through third-source donations.
In order to bridge the gap in funding and meet our expenses, we look to the generosity of our donors and ask them to partner with us in making a difference in the lives of our students, both now and for eternity.
