Field Trips

“It was great for the kids to get out of the classroom for a day and experience something totally different at the Cleveland Museum of Art. The kids really responded to what they saw.”

—Martin Beckman, Principal

We believe that the classroom of life is far bigger than the walls of our buildings.

That is why we strive to get our students out into the world to stretch their worldview and connect the classroom with real-life and authentic experience. We are fortunate to live in a region rich with world-class cultural attractions and natural resources.

In recent years, our students have enjoyed overnight camping trips to Hiram House in Chagrin Falls, where they tested their nerves on the rock climbing wall and high ropes courses. Classes have also ventured to Lake FarmPark, Severance Hall, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, the Cleveland Museum of Art and Cleveland Natural History Museum, as well as to the local Metro parks for teambuilding fun.
