Baptism

“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Acts 2:38

Saving word

In baptism, we become children of God, heirs of His kingdom.

Luther Memorial desires that all of our students receive new life in the waters of Baptism.

We believe that Baptism is not a mere “ritual” or “symbol,” but a miraculous means of grace by which God grants faith and the forgiveness of sins.

Luther Memorial encourages families to consider having their child baptized if that blessed event did not happen before they reached school age. Families will receive instruction in the sacrament of Holy Baptism.

Over the years, we have celebrated many baptisms at school during Chapel services, family nights and at the end-of-year school picnic.

If you would like information on having your child baptized, please contact the school office.
