Welcome to Luther Memorial School! Whether you are visiting our website as a prospective parent, current parent, alumni or donor, I hope that you find the information you are looking for and are not hesitant to contact me if you have any questions.
Luther Memorial was founded more than 70 years ago by an association of three Lutheran churches in Cleveland to care for and educate the children of their congregations, primarily German immigrants.
Today, we are proud of our diverse student population, welcoming children of all races, nationalities and religions. Our mission is to provide a quality, Christ-centered education that fosters life-long learning and the skills necessary for our students to seek out and hold onto opportunities throughout their lives.
Our children are known, that is we are intentionally small enough to personally know each of our children and families. We work to constantly build and strengthen these relationships because Luther Memorial is a family.
Our children are taught and prepared for high school, college and beyond through a strong academic program that is complemented by an emphasis on the Arts. Our faculty averages 15 years of teaching experience.
And lastly, our children are loved. Teaching is personal. Our teachers refer to students as “my children.” We offer a nurturing environment that encourages our students to care for each other and practice standing up for what is right and true.
If you are considering enrolling your child, come visit. We would love to show you our growing school community.
And if you are already connected to the school in some way, thank you for your support and for putting your confidence in Luther Memorial.
